Hi I purchased a few z83-f's for fun to play with some multi node infrastructure. It seems with my current bios I am unable to get these machines to boot without a monitor attached. I saw in another thread something similar but the solution seemed to be that one of the forum maintainers would privately send a new bios version to that user. My bios version is:

BLT-BI-MINIPC-X5R110-CC54B-102-L

Is there a bios that will allow me to boot headless and if so how would I get it?

After several emails with the technical service, they have sent me the way to update the bios so that this does not happen, a 10 for the technical service !:

The BIOS provided below can only be installed on ubuntu.(Solve the problem of not power-on without plugging in the HDMI cable.)
************************************************************************************
please update you BIOS (only support linux Ubuntu),as the below link .

1. Unzip the file and copy all the files to the root directory of the U disk. Note that the U disk partition must be in FAT32 format.

2. Connect the USB flash drive and press F7 to boot into UEFI SHELL.

3. Run the batch BIOS.nsh to start updating the BIOS.

4. Do not interrupt during the BIOS update process.

5. After the BIOS is updated, please power off, clear CMOS, and then connect to power to boot.

6. Press the Del key to enter the BIOS Setup interface, load default, then save and exit.

I too would like to boot without a monitor (headless) on ubuntu. Do I need the bios update?
Version: BLT-BI-MINIPC-X5R110-CC54B-102-J
Where would I get it from?

Running Debian 10 without issue on a Z83-F. But, going to use as a server and need it to run headless.
Bios version from dmidecode is BLT-BI-MINIPC-X5R110-CC54B-102-L.
Does every customer have to request a bios that doesn't insist on displaying the Minisforum logo before proceeding?
You provide far more BIOS options that many other mini-z8350 pc's. What a shame that couldn't have been an option.
I guess I'll watch my inbox for a bios update. I won't be able to install it using Windows, so I hope it's a standalone setup.
Thanks,
