Windows Clean Install

Hi there,

First of all, I'd like to say I love your product so far (Minisforum N40). It took a bit of tweaking to disable some Windows processes that were burning all of my CPU power.
I also was able to update the graphics, bluetooth and wifi driver right of the box and install the generic ones, kudos to you not to have made a closed system !

I now want to buy a M2 SSD and make a clean install of Windows on it, can you give me pointers on how or if the following things are possible to achieve :
- Change the boot order from the bios to be able to boot from the SSD
- Make a clean install of your Windows 10 image on the SSD (while keeping my Windows product key)

At last, do you have an easy way to open the N40 case without damaging it too much ?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

I just noticed the screws behind the rubber pads on the lower side of the case. You can forget my question about how to unmount the case ^^"

Hi,
1.You can buy an SSD of this specification: M.2 2242 SATA SSD (up to 1TB , SATA 3.0 6.0Gb/s)
2.Clean Install of Windows 10 steps-PDF: http://www.mediafire.com/file/osnu6leiqgqq2mk/How_to_Get_Installation_Media_and_Do_a_Clean_Install_of_Windows_10.pdf/file
3.The disassembly method of N40 is similar to that of Z83-F, please check: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7owz12msig7ap2j/Z83-F_Replacement_battery.pdf/file
I did not like the idea of prying the case with a piece of metal. But the case comes with a handy tool. Bolt the vesa bracket to the base. With a little lift and a twist using it as a handle , and the base comes off.
