UM700 RAM Upgrade Info

I would like the specifics on the maximum amount of RAM I can put in the UM700 and the part number of RAM I need to buy. I want to make sure it will be compatible and tested RAM so would like specifics other than type and speed. Corsair or Kingston or other RAM supplier with part number or link to RAM.

UM700 can support 64GB. I suggest you use this memory from Kingston, which is compatible.

Joey thanks for info. Is there a list somewhere from Minisforum that states memory part numbers that are compatible with UM700? Just trying to compare prices as well.

So have you tried that memory in a UM700 without issues? Also for gaming and I know this is not a stellar PC for that but what is acceptable amount of RAM to run Windows and give Vega graphics card enough RAM to handle game graphics. Currently I have 16 GB. Is there really any benefit to going to 32 or 64 GB. I would like to run VMWare and Linux VM so 64 GB is beneficial for that.

Upgrading the memory is only the user's own behavior. Regarding whether it is beneficial, this is implemented according to individual needs. Hope this answer is helpful to you, thank you.

I'm using 2x16GB crucial DDR4 2666 memory sticks and it works fine for me (I'm using docker + vmware for my work). The maximum supported capacity is 32GB as mentioned on this page: https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/ryzen_7/3750h
And for supporting DDR4-2666 instead of the default 2400, you need to edit the memory timing in BIOS to 1333. Anything higher than 1333 will result system crash (and the BIOS will reset its settings to default).

Hi,

i would like to ask if the "Kingston ValueRAM 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 NonECC CL19 SODIMM 2Rx8 1.2V KVR26S19D8/16" is also compatible.

I could buy two of them to get 32 GB, right?

Thank you.
