To install Linux Mint, you will have to make a bootable USB key with the downloaded .iso, and then interrupt the boot process with F7 key. After that, the graphical install is very intuitive. There's just one drawback I'd like to point out: the Realtek Gigabit Ethernet port transfers only at 90 Mbps (Kernel driver in use: r8168). It's the same speed on MS Windows. When will an Bios or driver update be available?
