Couple of questions

1. Is it possible to purchase a larger SSD drive and manually replace the one that shipped with my device (see below)?

And/or,

2. Is it possible to extend the internal SSD by adding an SD card and mapping the SD to the end of the internal SSD?

I love the device and it's working great under Ubuntu 19.x; however, it would help if I had more than 64GB of base storage.

FYI...I have two 1TB USB drives, so that's helping so far as basic storage requirements.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hello,
As per the product description, It says you can add 128gb sd card
Expanded memory: 128GB SD Card ( the SD card didn’t include); DIY SSD
Regarding replacing the existing 64Gb eMMC, I doubt you can replace it if its an SOC module, If it is a removal eMMC then you might be lucky. This only Minis support team can answer as I don't own this product.

Anyways you can add a external USB drive to the device and auto-mount it on boot. You can save all you data on this drive while using 64Gb emmc just for the operating system and small files.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.
