Model U800 works fine with Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia

To install Linux Mint, you will have to make a bootable USB key with the downloaded .iso, and then interrupt the boot process with F7 key. After that, the graphical install is very intuitive. There's just one drawback I'd like to point out: the Realtek Gigabit Ethernet port transfers only at 90 Mbps (Kernel driver in use: r8168). It's the same speed on MS Windows. When will an Bios or driver update be available?

Please check your router and intel network ,
If you test whether the network speed can reach 1G, it is recommended that you set two computer IPs and use a network cable to transfer data to each other for testing.
LAN Chip is realtek RTL8111H

Thank you for your answer.

Everything is ok near 1 Gbps right now: after reboot of my Netgear Prosafe GS105E, reinstall of the package r8168-dkms (version 8.045.08-2ubuntu1), and reboot of the U800. Actually, since I didn't retest at every step, I still don't know what the source of the speed problem was.
